Our Mission

At The Buckhorn Association, our mission is simple: to strengthen the fabric of life in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. We do this by supporting community-based programs that bring people together and make daily life healthier, brighter, and more connected. From education and housing support to health services, cultural activities, and recreation, we’re committed to serving both the young and the elderly in ways that truly matter.

Over the years, our work has grown to include supporting the arts—especially smaller cultural organizations that often don’t have access to large funding sources. By providing resources and encouragement, we help these groups share their creativity and keep our neighborhoods rich with culture, history, and joy.
